The Tunic
On this page, you'll learn where to sew on all your badges onto your tunic. For more information on what the badges represent click here.
Left Sleeve
Junior Ranks (AB - PO2)
This is the shoulder flash. Worn on each shoulder of the black tunic with the upper edge of the badge sewn in as close as possible to the shoulder seam.
This is where the junior rank badges go (AB-PO2). They are to be sewn in centred on the upper left sleeve, midway between the shoulder seam and the point of the elbow. (Bend your elbow to double check)
This is where your participation/appointment badge is worn. If you receive one of these badges then it is to be sewn in centred on the lower left sleeve directly above the upper seam of the cuff. Up to a combination of four participation/competition or appointment badges may be worn on the left arm. Only one appointment insignia can be worn at any given time. There is no order of precedence.

Senior Ranks (PO1 - CPO1)
This is where the senior rank badges go (PO1 - CPO1). This badge goes on the lower left sleeve, centred midway between the bottom of the cuff and the point of the elbow. (Bend your elbow to double check).
Right Sleeve
This is where your summer training course badges go. They are to be sewn in on the center of the upper right sleeve between your shoulder flash and your elbow. If a badge is a square, it is a basic course badge. if it has a maple leaf, it is an intermediate course badge. If it has a crown, it is an advanced course badge. Below are the ways in which you can wear your course badges.

This is where your proficiency badge (s) is worn. If you receive one of these badges then it is to be sewn in centred on the lower right sleeve directly above the upper seam of the cuff. A maximum of six may be worn at once. There is no order of precedence.

Right Breast Pocket
Corps Crest
Nametag
Corps crests are individual to each cadet corps. At RCSCC Haida our corps crest consists of two thunderbirds on water. The corps crest goes above the right breast pocket on your black tunic and is place 3cm above the top of the pocket and it should be straight. The bottom of the name-tag should be touching the top of the right breast pocket.
From the bottom of the corps crest to the top of the right breast pocket is 3cm. When the name tag is placed, there should be 1.5cm of space left between the bottom of the corps crest and the top of the name tag.

If the cadet has been awarded a medal with a ribbon(s), the name tag will be moved up 1.5cm. The ribbon will go right underneath the name tag in the center of the right breast pocket. The corps crest will remain 3cm from the top of the right breast pocket.
