PHASE 5
Petty Officer 1st Class (PO1)
In phase 5, you will hold the rank of either Petty Officer 1st Class or Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class. This is where you will use everything you have learned from phase 1 - 4 to lead your entire corps. You are the leaders that will guide and run the corps to its success. Everyone will look up to you to make decisions and be innovative in how you can improve the corps.
Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class (CPO2)
Chief Petty Officer 1st Class (CPO1)
*Chief Petty Officer 1st Class is a rank that can only be held for 1 cadet, and that cadet is usually the cadet Coxswain of the corps. The cadet coxswain of the corps is responsible for running and mentoring their senior cadets and junior cadets. They also act as the liaison between the cadets and the officers in order to ensure there is constant communication flowing between the two groups.
